This month saw a flurry of activity as the Admin Services department took over the reins of the fundraising efforts.
It was an exhilarating start to the proceedings as the team ramped up to an office leg wax. The chosen victims, who sacrificed the hair on their legs from the knee down, were Liam, Tom, Kully and Ben! But it wasn’t as simple as that because the money pot had to hit the first benchmark of £250 to unlock this special option. Obviously, they were hoping they could get the guys to take the hot seat so the team were hoping everyone would give generously. It was smiling faces all round (except for the poor boys getting their legs waxed) as they more than beat their target.
It certainly was a sight to be seen and you can watch the full video of their pain below, including a few funny faces.
The rest of July saw two crumpet and coffee mornings, with the whole office getting involved and a brilliant Fancy Dress Day, where we got to see some of the best costumes and a lot of money raised for the Foundation.
The team have raised £917.06 across all the amazing events that happened in July. Next up is the Customer Services team and they have the whole of August to beat the two departments we’ve had so far…
