It is that time of year again and The Cape Verde Foundation is gearing up to launch the Christmas campaign for the children of Cape Verde.
It is with great excitement that we look to gather 350 schoolchildren from Santa Maria, Espargos and Palmeira at the MELIÃ Dunas Beach Resort & Spa amphitheatre to receive a gift each from Santa Claus himself at this year’s Cape Verde Foundation Christmas Party. We are asking our loyal supporters to help us raise £3000 to cover a gift donation of €10 per child and a small present to open on the day. You may have seen in previous years the joy that this small but significant gesture has brought to the children. It is our favourite time of year for the looks on their face alone.
The party is scheduled for 15th December between 3pm and 6pm and, as usual, we have plenty of incredible things planned for the children. That’s why we urgently need donations to be able to make the day as special as we can and we hope you can support us!
2.45pm – 3pm – Music and animation team to be ready to welcome children
3.30pm – 3.40pm – A welcome from Mr Jarrett, accompanied by a representative of the Foundation
4pm – 4.30pm – MELIÃ Dunas Beach Resort & Spa animation team perform their in-house production
4.30pm – 5pm – Refreshments and games to be played with the children
5pm – 6pm – A visit from Santa Claus and gifts to be given to each child
