Our Donation to The Kusasa Project

The Kusasa Project, an educational charity for disadvantaged children in South Africa, recently received a donation from The Cape Verde Foundation for an exciting initiative. The donation will help to send children to the Gothia World Cup in Sweden – the largest soccer tournament for young people in the world.

Pride of a new kit

This will be a life-changing experience for these children as most come from extremely poor backgrounds living in harsh environments, such as shack dwellings with no electricity or water, sharing toilets with hundreds of others.

This opportunity can open their eyes to the world of possibility and we are proud to say that the support of the Cape Verde Foundation will help change the future of many young children. The project relies on the donation of friends and associates who are connected with the area or those who share the passion to make a positive difference.

Doug Gurr from The Kusasa Project recently contacted us on “behalf of our organisation and the children we support [to] thank Mr Jarrett and everyone involved for their amazing generosity and the donation of £5,000.”

We are extremely pleased that this donation is making such a difference to the lives of these children, who would not ordinarily get to experience anything like this. It is an important project that helps the children in many ways. They run their own school, delivering the highest standard of education by having the best teachers available, and a bursary program from which one of their scholars went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and who this year commenced working for Deloitte.
